The Arctic and the Far East require special attention
"The Far Eastern regions, the Arctic zone are territories that require special attention because of their geopolitical position. The President [of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin] has defined a strategy for their accelerated development, it includes a whole range of measures to support business, create new jobs, comfortable living conditions for people, increase their incomes," he said.
Mishustin drew attention to the fact that the KRDV is directly involved in this: first of all, we are talking about attracting business to all sectors of the region's economy — from mechanical engineering to tourism, the formation of favorable financial and administrative conditions for investors.
The head of the Cabinet of Ministers also recalled that a decree was recently signed on expanding the borders of priority development territories in three Far Eastern regions: the Amur Region, Kamchatka and Khabarovsk Territories — for the construction of important industrial enterprises there, modernization of the seaport.
